 Step 1- Open TAFCOP official website: https://tafcop.dgtelecom.gov.in/ 

 Step 2 - Here you need to enter your mobile number. Then you get an OTP.

 Step 3-  Enter the OTP and complete the verification process to login to the portal. 

 Step 4 - Then complete the registration process. 

 Step 5 - After that you will be redirected to another page where you can see all the different cell phone numbers associated with your Aadhar card. 

 It is no exaggeration to say that the Aadhaar Map is one of India's most important documents. One must have an Aadhaar card to be able to claim all social benefits offered by central and state government.

 Recently it became mandatory to link the Aadhaar number  for a bank account, IT file and PF account. It is imperative to demand that Aadhaar gets a new SIM connection. Many people use more than one SIM card.Previously, the government  restricted users to having no more than 9 SIM connections on behalf of one person. The government later relaxed the number to 18,

, According to the Indian Telecoms Regulatory Authority  (TRAI), a person can get up to 18 new SIM cards by presenting their Aadhaar number. 

 However, the government allowed 9 SIM cards for normal phone communication and the remaining 9 SIM cards can be used for M2M communication. 

 In 2018, the Department of Telecommunications (DoT) had increased the number of connections per user to 18, but with one condition.It has been improved as the amount of SIM required for M2M communication will be large. After the upgrade, 9 SIMs can now be used for normal mobile phone communication or used in devices that have a slot for it. 

 The other 9 SIMs can be purchased for M2M communication (Machine to Machine Communications). The revised DoT guidelines  came into effect after Reliance Jio and Bharti Airtel started selling the Apple Watch Series 3, which has eSIM-only services. 

 If these guidelines require M2M  to be preinstalled, it is the responsibility of device manufacturers to complete subscriber verification.However, it is the responsibility of the individual or end user to update the subscriber's details if they transfer the device to another user. 

 In 2019, the Department of Transport developed the Telecom Analytics for Fraud Management and Consumer Protection (TAF-COP) portal website. It is designed to help subscribers check the number of cellular connections on their behalf and take the necessary steps to regulate their additional cellular connections. However, the primary responsibility for handling the Customer Acquisition Form (CAF) rests with the service providers. 

 The facilities provided in the portal, https://tafcop.dgtelecom.gov.in/ are: 

 1. Subscribers who have more than nine multiple lines in their name will be notified by SMS. 

 2Subscribers who have more than nine multicasts in their name can  click the link above  to take the necessary action. 

 3. Users can check the status once they click the link above  to login with their number and input the “Ticket ID Reference Number” in the “Application Status” field. 

 With this tracker anyone can find out if a SIM card was issued with your Aadhaar card or without your knowledge and permission. Once you open the link  above, you will be asked to enter your mobile number and an OTP will be provided.After completing the required process, you can view the details of all SIM cards that have been purchased using your Aadhaar number.

In 2019,  Electronics and Information Technology Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad clarified that  the Department of Telecoms had not issued any instructions to force all mobile users in the country to link the Aadhaar number to mobile SIM cards. However, the Aadhaar-based E-KYC (Electronic-Know Your Customer) procedure was announced as an alternative KYC mechanism  for issuing new mobile connections on 08/16/2016 and as a verification method for existing 

 mobile  subscribers on 03/23/2016.2017. 

 Later, in accordance with the Supreme Court ruling of 09/26/2018, the Department for Transport suspended the use of the Aadhaar-based E-KYC UIDAI service to issue new mobile connections to subscribers and to re-verify existing mobile subscribers. However, after an ordinance, its use was allowed voluntarily.
